About Moraine Labs
We build secure, interoperable automation for healthcare teams—focused on measurable outcomes, clear accountability, and keeping PHI under your control.
Moraine Labs was founded to close the gap between promising AI concepts and the day-to-day realities of health plans, provider groups, and compliance teams. Our goal is simple: deliver tools that reduce busywork, raise confidence in decisions, and generate outputs that stand up to scrutiny—from internal audit to external regulators.
Our team brings 10+ years of managed care experience across utilization management, special investigations, payment integrity, and network operations. We’ve lived the tension between speed and accuracy, and we design our products to fit the way payers and providers actually work—within existing security postures and review workflows.
We also bring decades of hands-on enterprise IT experience in data engineering, application security, DevOps, and on-prem deployment. That background matters: it’s how we support single-tenant and self-hosted options, enforce least-privilege access, and keep performance predictable on real-world hardware.
Complementing that foundation is our track record in healthcare technology over multiple decades—from claims analytics and provider data management to EMR interoperability and regulatory reporting. We build for defensibility and traceability by default: outputs come with rationale, references, and an auditable trail.
Our approach is practical and evidence-driven. We start with well-scoped pilots, define success metrics upfront, and ship production-minded implementations (installer, rollback, logging, and integrity checks included). When models are involved, we emphasize guardrails, transparent reasoning, and human-in-the-loop review.
Security and privacy are non-negotiable. We support deployments that keep PHI within your boundaries, enforce encryption in transit and at rest, and align with HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST-style controls. Where appropriate, we provide tamper-evident integrity for sensitive records so third parties can verify what was produced, when, and by whom—without relying on our systems.
Above all, we measure ourselves by outcomes: reduced false positives, faster cycle times, cleaner handoffs, and documentation that makes decisions easy to defend. If you’re evaluating ways to modernize investigations, integrity verification, provider screening, or compliance tracking, we’d be glad to explore whether our approach fits your needs.
